ZOELY (nomegestrolacetate, estradiol)

ZOELY is therapeutically indicated for oral contraception. The decision to prescribe Zoely should take into consideration the individual woman's current risk factors, particularly those for venous thromboembolism (VTE), and how the risk of VTE with Zoely compares with other CHCs.

Zoely is a combined oral hormonal contraceptive pill. Each white, active-film-coated tablet contains both an oestrogen and a progestogen, 2.5 mg nomegestrol acetate (NOMAC) and 1.5 mg estradiol (E2, as hemihydrate). Zoely provides an oestrogen identical to that produced in a woman’s ovaries and a progesterone-derived progestogen with a 46-hour half-life. It is taken every day with no breaks and has a 24-hour missed-pill window.
