IMPLANON NXT (etonogestrel)
IMPLANON NXT is therapeutically indicated for contraception. Safety and efficacy have been established in women between 18 and 40 years of age.
IMPLANON NXT is a radiopaque, non-biodegradable, flexible implant of for sub-dermal long-acting reversible contraceptive (LARC) use. It comes preloaded in a sterile, disposable applicator that is designed to be operated with one hand and to help facilitate correct sub-dermal insertion of the implant. IMPLANON NXT is a progestogen-only contraceptive that contains a total of 68 mg of etonogestrel (ENG) that is released gradually to provide contraception over a 3-year period.
